Introduction: APECED Syndrome; is a rare, autosomal recessive disease caused by mutations in the autoimmun regulatuar AIRE gene on the chromosome 21. Although classical triad is mucocutaneous candidiasis, hypoparathyroidism and adrenal insufficiency; endocrine / non-endocrine involvement may also be seen.
